  • Create, record, edit, and publish engaging software training videos and e-learning content using Camtasia, Articulate, and AI-powered content creation tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve client-facing knowledge base articles in HappyFox, ensuring content is accurate, searchable, and easy to follow.
  • Modernize legacy training materials into concise videos, knowledge base articles, quick reference guides, and other digital learning resources.

  • Capture and edit screenshots, screen recordings, graphics, and other multimedia assets to enhance learning.
  • Manage a backlog of training content projects by prioritizing work, tracking progress, and delivering high-quality content on schedule.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, Implementation, and Training teams to ensure content reflects the latest software updates and best practices.

  • Continuously explore new technologies, AI tools, and instructional design best practices to improve the client learning experience.
  • Prepare training content and supporting materials for client and internal learning initiatives as required.
  • Contribute ideas to improve Citywide training content, knowledge base, and self-service resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Digital Media, Multimedia, Communications, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience creating digital learning content, technical documentation, instructional materials, or multimedia content (co-op, internship, freelance, or personal projects considered).
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software applications and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience creating and editing videos using tools such as Camtasia, Descript, Articulate, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar content creation software.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to improve content creation and productivity is considered an asset.

  • Creative, curious, and proactive, with a passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving content.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in learning new technologies, experimenting with AI tools, and continuously improving work processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
