Position Overview

Paragon Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team of professionals committed to delivering exceptional mental health care. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working within our outpatient psychiatric office in Waldorf, Maryland. With a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, we ensure that our therapists are well-compensated for their expertise and dedication.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient's needs, allowing for the development of personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and goal-oriented.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to provide effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and health professionals to create a comprehensive care approach for patients, ensuring continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution is required.
  • Must possess current and valid licensure in the state as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess mental health needs and create effective treatment plans is vital.
  • Experience delivering therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on empathy and active listening skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
