Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing counselors to operate from their preferred location. We provide unlimited administrative and technological support, ensuring our team has the necessary resources to focus entirely on client engagement and therapy, rather than administrative burdens. The organization operates on a dynamic online platform that serves as a virtual office. Here, counselors can conduct live video or text sessions and maintain secure communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients aiming to improve their mental health and coping strategies.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions, experiences, and relationship dynamics, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
• Act as an advocate for clients by assisting them in setting and defining therapeutic goals tailored to their personal realities.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, creating individualized treatment plans that utilize a solution-focused approach grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes while adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve counseling a diverse range of stable adult clients who have been carefully screened and matched with you based on your areas of specialty and demographic preferences. The clients you work with typically present low acuity concerns, allowing you to provide focused and effective interventions without the complexity of severe mental health issues.

Qualifications

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and fully unrestricted state license to practice independently, such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, in good standing without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate and empathetic disposition towards clients.
• Proficient in using technology, including video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering telehealth services or remote counseling preferred.
• Previous experience working with adult clients in a therapeutic setting is highly valued.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse populations and demographic groups.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year depending on professional experience and caseload hours. Our compensation package includes a weekly direct deposit, as well as a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors. This opportunity can serve as a supplementary income stream or your primary source, depending on your availability.
