This role is ideal for a strategic operator who understands both people and technology. You will lead complex digital initiatives, translate business requirements into actionable project plans, and keep multidisciplinary teams aligned from discovery through launch.

You do not need to write code, but you should be comfortable discussing technical concepts and partnering with developers, architects, UX designers, marketers, account teams, and client stakeholders. You will also help identify delivery risks, resolve challenges, and bring structure and accountability to multiple client engagements.

What You’ll DoTechnical Project Leadership
  • Lead website, application, marketing technology, CRM, CMS, and systems integration projects from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedules, resources, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with technical leads to understand architecture, technical constraints, development priorities, and implementation approaches
  • Translate business objectives into clear workstreams, requirements, and deliverables
  • Coordinate technical and nontechnical contributors throughout the project lifecycle
Delivery Management
  • Own project execution across strategy, UX, design, development, content, marketing, analytics, QA, and client teams
  • Lead project planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, status meetings, retrospectives, and milestone reviews
  • Balance quality, scope, budget, timelines, and resource availability
  • Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans before they affect delivery
  • Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and timeline impacts in partnership with account teams and leadership
  • Keep teams aligned and accountable for commitments, dependencies, and deadlines
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate project boards, workstreams, dependencies, documentation, reporting, and dashboards in Monday.com
  • Develop and maintain project requirements, timelines, RAID logs, action registers, meeting notes, and status reports
  • Monitor team capacity and coordinate resources across concurrent initiatives
  • Establish project standards and continuously improve delivery methodologies, workflows, and templates
  • Bring structure to ambiguous, evolving, or technically complex projects
  • Support improvements across project management practices and delivery operations
Client & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted delivery partner for internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Communicate project health, risks, timelines, technical considerations, and recommendations clearly
  • Facilitate productive conversations between technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Build alignment across strategy, creative, development, marketing, QA, account management, and executive leadership
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively guide teams toward practical solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex digital, software, web, or marketing technology projects
  • Agency experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience managing website builds, CMS implementations, CRM integrations, APIs, marketing automation platforms, or custom application development
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and digital product delivery
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable partnering with technical teams and translating technical concepts into business language
  • Experience with Monday.com, Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms
  • Familiarity with Drupal, WordPress, Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, CMS platforms, analytics tools, and modern collaboration software
Why This Role
  • Fully remote contractual opportunity for US-based professionals
  • Lead complex, high-impact digital and technology initiatives
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, development, marketing, and analytics
  • Partner with both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Help improve project delivery standards, workflows, and operational processes
  • Make an immediate impact across multiple client engagements

If you are an experienced project leader who can bring structure to complexity while balancing technical requirements, business priorities, and client expectations, we would love to hear from you.
