Title: Operations IT Solution Specialist

Location: Houston TX or Lake Jackson

Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our global team in Houston TX. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications built on VB.Net, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong backend and frontend experience, solid understanding of application architecture, and practical experience using Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, and project collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.Net, .NET Framework/.NET, MVC, SQL Server.
- Develop and enhance user interfaces and frontend components aligned with business requirements.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic layers.
- Work with SQL Server to design, write, and optimize queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
- Use Azure DevOps for source code repositories, work item management, sprint planning, and collaboration.
- Apply Git best practices for version control, branching, merging, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and releases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
- Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, components, and development processes.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer in an enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with VB.Net, .NET, and MVC application development.
- Solid experience with SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for repositories, work items, and project tracking.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Understanding of full application lifecycle from development through support and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex application issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) alongside MVC applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid environments (Azure preferred).
- Ability to learn and adapt to emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies.
