Job description

Junior .NET Developer
Spring, TX | Hybrid | Long-Term Contract
Must live in the Houston area and be willing to commute to Spring

iSphere is looking for a Junior .NET Developer who's ready to do more than fix bugs all day. This is a great opportunity for someone with a year or two of experience who's eager to keep learning, contribute to real projects, and work alongside a team that values curiosity as much as technical ability.

You'll help support and enhance modern Azure cloud-native applications while gaining exposure to everything from application development and API integrations to cloud infrastructure and data analysis. If you're the type who likes figuring out why something broke instead of just making the error message disappear, you'll fit right in.

What they're really looking for:

• 1–2 years of .NET development experience
• Experience with .NET Core and .NET 8 web applications and Web APIs
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies and configuration
• Experience with Blazor, Node.js, and Azure Service Bus
• SQL and relational database experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps releases and deployment pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
• Adaptability in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Change Data Capture (CDC)
• API integrations and development
• SharePoint Online
• Power Apps and Power Automate

You'll spend your time supporting existing applications, developing new features, troubleshooting production issues, gathering requirements for enhancements, participating in new initiatives, and helping analyze data to support business needs. You'll also have the opportunity to work with cloud-native technologies and continue building your technical skillset.

The right person for this role enjoys learning, asks good questions, and isn't afraid to dig into unfamiliar code to understand how it works. They're curious, dependable, and know that becoming a great developer starts with being willing to tackle the problems nobody else has solved yet.

If you're looking for a place where you can grow your career, work with modern Microsoft technologies, and gain hands-on experience that goes well beyond "junior developer" tasks, we'd love to hear from you.
