Associate Attorney - Real Estate / Title Review / Foreclosure
Hybrid or Remote Opportunity
Established and growing multi-state legal services organization is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its expanding real estate and default services practice. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative legal team handling title review, title curative matters, and non-judicial foreclosure processes for a sophisticated client base.
The ideal candidate will be licensed in Georgia, possess strong real estate and title experience, and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Additional licensure in Alabama, Texas, or Mississippi is highly preferred.
This role may be hybrid or fully remote depending on experience level and geographic location. Periodic in-office training or meetings may be required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review title examinations and identify title defects and curative requirements
  • Resolve simple and complex title issues efficiently and accurately
  • Analyze foreclosure, loan, and real estate documents for compliance and legal sufficiency
  • Draft and review legal correspondence, opinions, pleadings, and foreclosure-related documentation
  • Manage an independent caseload while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
  • Utilize client and case management systems to maintain file progression and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with internal legal and operational teams
Qualifications
  • Active Georgia Bar license in good standing required
  • Minimum of 2 years of attorney experience in real estate law, title review, foreclosure, or title curative
  • Additional licensure in AL, TX, or MS strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of title standards and foreclosure processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume workflow independently
  • Experience with legal case/document management systems preferred
  • Familiarity with BKFS, Tempo, or similar client platforms is a plus
