• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, considering their background, circumstances, and therapeutic goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
• Engage actively with clients during sessions to facilitate meaningful conversations and therapeutic exercises aimed at promoting emotional healing and personal growth.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client records.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to coordinate care plans effectively, sharing insights and strategies that foster positive client outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay informed about the latest mental health research and best practices.

This position entails supporting a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health challenges. You will work with populations facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. Your role will be crucial in providing guidance and support to those who may otherwise struggle to receive appropriate care.

• A valid Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with diverse clientele and enhance therapeutic relationships.
• A solid understanding of clinical best practices, ethical standards, and legal requirements in mental health treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, sharing insights and collaborating on patient care strategies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, enhancing efficiency in documentation and patient management.

• The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with clinical experience and client caseload.
