Job description

The Remote Operations Center Operator position is an entry-level role and a fantastic opportunity to learn about the rapidly growing renewable energy industry while making a significant impact with a great team. In this pivotal position, you'll be essential in the daily monitoring and management of energy assets, ensuring peak performance and seamless communication between our clients and field personnel. This is a fully remote position, offering excellent flexibility, with the expectation of quarterly visits to one of our office locations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Analyze alerts and system performance across all monitoring and asset management software.
  • Comply with portfolio requirements for monitoring and field dispatch.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce Drive O&M (CMMS) functions.
  • Accurately create new work orders and provide timely updates in CMMS.
  • Communicate with clients in a professional manner for required work task approvals.
  • Coordinate with and assist field teams with onsite troubleshooting.
  • Field phone calls and log corresponding entries in CMMS.
  • Perform SEL relay remote communication and event retrieval.
  • Perform various tracker system remote operations.
  • Manage transfer of information between Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), CMMS, and ESS data room.
  • Participate in client meetings as required.
  • Manage and maintain ESS file structure and workflow functions.
  • Attend Quarterly in-person meetings in coordination with respective Manager.
  • Attend relevant technical training and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekend work as required to support business needs or seasonality.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Able to work independently and take direction.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe and proven ability to learn new software programs.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $50,000-60,000 encompassing base pay and potential incentive target opportunity. This range is a good faith estimate based on the position's requirements. Specific compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary depending on factors such as relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, this position may qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, including Retirement Benefits, Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance and Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and more.
