Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to identify client needs and craft individualized treatment plans.
• Implement proven therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients’ healing processes.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to a culture of learning and the integration of best practices in treatment.
• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and resilience.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research to continually enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele with varying mental health needs, including individuals recovering from trauma, managing anxiety disorders, and experiencing depressive symptoms. Your expertise will guide these clients through personalized treatment plans, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters strength and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions, allowing for tailored approaches that meet individual client needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve in order to navigate complex clinical situations and guide clients toward positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Root Center offers a competitive annual salary that ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with performance-based bonuses.
