• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gather essential information regarding patients’ mental health needs. Utilize evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Your empathetic approach will empower clients to confront challenges and build resilience.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines. This meticulous documentation is crucial for ongoing treatment and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate closely with an integrated treatment team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals. Regular case consultations and peer reviews will enhance treatment quality and foster an educational atmosphere.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment options. Equip them with resources and knowledge to navigate their mental health journey effectively.

In your role, you will work with a diverse mix of clients, offering services to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will be an integral part of their support network, guiding them toward stability and wellness. Your role will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of our community, contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.
• Demonstrated expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to navigate complex patient situations.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Experience in a community health setting, particularly with a focus on outpatient services.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams that enhance collaborative care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient client management.
