Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to screen, evaluate, and diagnose mental health disorders for clients of all ages.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and age-appropriate psychotherapy tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and agency policies.
• Facilitate engaging psychotherapy groups for children, families, and multi-family scenarios that include psychoeducation and therapeutic discussions.
• Communicate actively with clients’ families and support networks, fostering collaborative relationships with childcare providers, school professionals, and other community resources.
• Utilize an electronic medical records system efficiently to document client interactions, treatment progress, and evaluations, maintaining high standards of documentation.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and quality assurance reviews, dedicating time to professional development through training and continuing education units (CEUs).
• Incorporate Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) principles into your practice, ensuring that services are culturally sensitive and responsive to clients' needs.
• Provide or coordinate case management services, effectively linking clients with necessary multi-systemic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will focus on a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and adults dealing with various mental health issues, substance abuse, and developmental concerns. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental health landscape of Baker City by addressing the nuanced needs of our community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
• An independent license in Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) or the ability to obtain licensure in the state.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this remote position is competitive, with earnings between USD 50,000 and 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
