• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized treatment plans for clients, focusing on both pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.
• Create positive behavior support plans and risk assessments in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each client.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring all clinical records are completed accurately and on time.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to enhance treatment effectiveness, adapting strategies based on each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Actively participate in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes, helping to establish and promote best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, advocating for necessary resources and support.
• Foster open and effective communication channels to align with our organizational goals, promoting our mission within the community.
• Engage in community outreach to establish partnerships that enhance service availability and potential funding opportunities.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings relevant to mental health.
• Promote and integrate the agency’s mission, values, and philosophies in your daily practice.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational needs.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, the clients you will serve range from individuals facing emotional and psychological distress to those in need of recovery support from substance use and developmental challenges. You will collaborate with diverse populations, tailoring your approaches to meet the specific cultural, social, and emotional needs of each client. Your work will empower clients to achieve higher levels of functioning and engage positively within their communities.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice in Washington State.

• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and community health resources.
• Experience developing and implementing behavioral support plans and crisis interventions.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse populations and facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.
