• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students to identify their unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions such as individual and group therapy sessions designed to support students in achieving their mental health goals.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards, ensuring accurate reporting of progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team comprising educators, counselors, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Participate in case consultation sessions and peer review meetings to contribute to continuous improvement of care quality and team performance.
• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, therapeutic processes, and coping strategies, empowering them in their journey towards better mental health.
• Stay abreast of current research, tools, and practices in social work and mental health to enhance the services provided and improve overall patient outcomes.

The primary clients for this position will be students enrolled in the school system. The LCSW will address a wide array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and social challenges. By working closely with schools, families, and local community resources, you will help create a supportive environment conducive to the psychological well-being of each student.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Tennessee.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, particularly with young populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based, solution-oriented therapeutic practices.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with students and collaborating with team members.
• A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative setting and embraces diverse viewpoints.

• Experience working in school systems or educational settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with state regulations and best practices in school-based mental health interventions.
