Serenity Hope and Healing Counseling, PLLC is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote role. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and craft detailed treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, addressing both immediate and long-term mental health goals.
  • Facilitate crisis interventions by developing proactive safety and crisis management plans that mitigate risks and promote positive behaviors.
  • Ensure timely and compliant documentation of all clinical interactions and treatment processes to meet regulatory standards and support the integrity of care provided.
  • Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for client care.
  • Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining current knowledge of state regulations and industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain liaisons with community partners, state agencies, and relevant service systems to coordinate care effectively and advocate for clients.
  • Promote open communication among team members and develop strategies that align with our organizational mission to enhance mental health services in the community.
  • Contribute to the development of workshops and community outreach programs, reflecting the agency's values while supporting the growth of the clinic's initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to foster a collaborative and effective workplace culture.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on servicing a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing emotional distress, substance use challenges, and various developmental disabilities. Your expertise and approach will be instrumental in tailoring strategies that resonate with each client, ultimately empowering them to achieve improved mental health and reintegrate into their communities successfully. You will be expected to utilize culturally competent practices that honor the backgrounds and experiences of each individual under your care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • A valid, independent LMHC license is mandatory, with assistance provided for candidates licensed in other states to obtain Massachusetts licensure.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient mental health care is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage a case load of clients effectively.
  • Familiarity with evidenced-based practices, assessment tools, and treatment modalities pertinent to diverse mental health issues.
  • Experience in developing community partnerships and advocating for mental health services is a plus.
