What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead operational initiatives required to support growth across Vios Medical's commercial lifecycle which includes demand planning, launch readiness, field deployment, service support, and ongoing operational scale-up.
  • Build and optimize the systems, workflows, and cross-functional handoffs needed to support increasing customer volume, product complexity, and service delivery requirements.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to ensure operational capabilities align with go-to-market plans, implementation timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Oversee supply chain planning and execution which includes forecasting inputs, inventory strategy, incoming inspections, procurement coordination, system assembly, vendor management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure products, accessories, and operational resources are delivered into the field accurately, on time, and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs related to lead times, inventory health, fulfillment accuracy, supply continuity, and delivery performance.
  • Own and improve processes associated with returns, RMAs, repair/refurbishment, replacement, remote monitoring services, and field service coordination.
  • Drive turnaround time improvements, better customer communication, and stronger visibility into service and field issue trends.
  • Partner with quality, engineering, and technical operations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and reduce recurring issues.
  • Evaluate alternative strategies for scaling operations which includes insourcing vs. outsourcing, automation opportunities, vendor models, systems investments, and service delivery options.
  • Develop business cases and cost/benefit analyses to support executive decision-making and prioritization of operational investments.
  • Recommend and implement changes that improve scalability, service levels, margin performance, and overall operational efficiency.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
  • Own repeatable technical operations processes which include deployments, upgrades, tablet preparation, SIM management, certificate management, production support, and cost monitoring.
  • Standardize installation/upgrade handoffs, escalation paths, documentation, tools, staffing logic, and KPIs to scale.
  • Partner cross-functionally to separate standardized operations from Research & Development (R&D)/Delivery Operations (DevOps) projects and manage operational impacts of technical changes.
  • Support the implementation of internal IT capabilities required to support the delivery and execution.
  • Coordinate improvements in operational systems, support models, issue escalation, infrastructure readiness, and process reliability across internal functions.
  • Serve as a key cross-functional leader coordinating operational initiatives across commercial, clinical operations, product, engineering, finance, quality, and customer-facing teams.
  • Establish operating cadences, dashboards, governance routines, and escalation pathways that improve visibility, accountability, and execution discipline.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations organization; coach team members and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain documentation to comply with various regulations associated with the role and function, including but not limited to FDA and ISO 13485.

What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with scope and level calibration for Director vs. Senior Director.
  • Experience supporting high-growth commercialization efforts within medical devices or an equivalent regulated, product-centric industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling operational functions such as supply chain, fulfillment, service/RMAs, technical operations, customer delivery, or similar business-critical areas.
  • Experience evaluating operating models and implementing improvements that enhance scalability, service levels, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, including experience developing business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and KPI-driven operating reviews.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across executive, commercial, clinical, technical, and operational teams.
  • Experience building processes, teams, and infrastructure in a fast-paced, evolving, or growth-stage organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organized, accountable, and comfortable operating with ambiguity while driving execution.
