Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, which allows for a flexible work-life balance while engaging fully with clients through a secure telehealth platform. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with consistent hours to plan your day effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions that empower clients to advocate for their mental health and well-being.
  • Guide clients through understanding and managing their emotions by employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, goals, and progress.
  • Utilize telehealth technology proficiently to ensure seamless client interactions and documentation.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, assessments, and progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance therapeutic skills and ensure best practices are being followed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Positive Development, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
