• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and personal histories, leading to the development of highly individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dynamics, and more.
• Engage in collaboration with other healthcare providers to create a well-rounded support network for each client, ensuring continuity and comprehensiveness of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and mental health trends.
• Offer insights and suggestions for enhancing service delivery and improving program effectiveness within our organization.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals of varying ages and backgrounds who are facing a wide range of emotional challenges. Our patients often present with conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. You will be expected to utilize culturally sensitive approaches to meet the unique needs of each client within our inclusive practice.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of active licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York state.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experiential involvement in a mental health setting, working with individuals navigating emotional challenges.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing the ability to build rapport with clients and foster trust.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is advantageous but not a prerequisite.

• Previous experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
