This position is fully remote, enabling you to establish a work-life balance that suits your personal commitments. You will work from home and utilize our secure telehealth platform to connect with clients through video counseling sessions. • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video chat, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance their mental health.
• Utilize empathetic listening to encourage clients to express their thoughts and feelings, fostering self-awareness and facilitating healthier interpersonal relationships.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions and collaboratively develop customized treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused strategies based on your clinical expertise.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, supporting them in setting and achieving meaningful personal goals throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation is completed promptly and adheres to regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs to stay updated on best practices in the mental health field.

Your clients will primarily consist of pre-screened, stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health issues. There will be no cases involving severe mental health crises, allowing you to focus your interventions on clients who are ready to engage in their therapeutic processes. We ensure that each client is matched with counselors whose specialties and demographic preferences align closely, enhancing the therapeutic alliance and client outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). No provisional licenses will be accepted.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough evaluations and create tailored treatment plans based on each client's unique circumstances.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong empathetic approach.
• Proficient in using technology and digital platforms to provide telehealth services effectively.

• Experience working in a remote setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous exposure to various therapeutic approaches or modalities can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Familiarity with billing processes and insurance requirements for mental health services.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
• Weekly direct deposit payments for consistent and reliable income.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support their health and well-being.
