About Empowered Servicesย 

Empowered Services providesย one-on-one in-home and community-based supportย for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our focus is to hire and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people build independence, maintain routines, and stay connected to their communities in meaningful ways.


Role Overviewย 

We are hiring an entry-levelย Direct Support Professional (DSP)ย to provide consistent, structured care for individuals of all ages in the Yamhill County area. (No prior DSP experience required โ€“ paid training provided.) ย  ย 


This role centers around:ย 

  • Supporting daily routines and household structureย 
  • Assisting with community-based activities and errandsย 
  • Encouraging independence while maintaining clear expectationsย 
  • Behavioral supportย 
  • Emotional regulationย 
  • Crisis supportย

ย ย What Youโ€™ll Doย 

  • Supportย daily living routinesย (meals, hygiene, organization)ย 
  • Assist withย community accessย (shopping, errands, outings)ย 
  • Provideย emotional regulation supportย using calm, structured approachesย 
  • Maintainย clear boundaries and consistent expectationsย 
  • Assist withย household upkeep and organizationย

  • $23โ€“$25 per hourย (based on experience and qualifications)ย

Preferred:ย 

  • Experience in caregiving, DSP, behavioral support, or IDD rolesย 
  • Experience supporting individuals with I/DDย 
  • Strong communication and boundary-setting skillsย 
  • CPR/First Aid certificationย
