Account Manager

Position: Full-Time

Location: This position offers remote work from Los Angeles, New York or Denver. Please be aware that applications from candidates residing outside of California, Colorado and New York will not be considered.

OVERVIEW

Movement Strategy is looking for an Account Manager to join our client services team. In this role, you'll be embedded within one of our client pods, reporting to a Pod Lead/Account Director, and will work closely with a cross-functional team to manage the day-to-day operations of client projects, ensuring efficient execution, strong client relationships, and project success. You will serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and project coordination.

Above all, your strongest skill should be problem-solving. You may not always have immediate answers, but you're the first to raise your hand, identify challenges, and develop solutions to get the job done.

KEY FOCUS AREAS 

  • Campaign Strategy and Planning: 
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to bring valuable insights to the team.
    • Develop a deep understanding and eventual contribution to creative, content ideas, paid media, and performance reporting with a strategic lens.
    • Support the development of scopes of work and quarterly/annual business reviews.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within day-to-day communication and meetings.
    • Participate in social-centric recommendations that will achieve client goals and business objectives to drive campaigns effectively.
  • Project Coordination & Management: 
    • Support the Pod Lead and Project Manager (if applicable) to uphold the strategic vision, and work in a collaborative and creative manner.
    • You will manage multiple projects within the business unit via Asana, leading internal cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles, including: social content, campaign development, influencer strategies, event activations, etc.
    • You'll be responsible for running internal team-status and always knowing where we stand with each project.
    • Collaborates with internal teams (creative, production, media planning) to develop and execute social-first creative content and campaigns.
    • Creating and seeing timelines through is second nature for you, and you'll continuously look to see where the team can improve in achieving each step in a timely/realistic manner.
    • Productivity: in addition to timelines, you'll be tasked to execute against a scope of work and budget for your client projects and retainers. Both will require detailed collaboration with other department leads to ensure accuracy in resources and time. Once work is complete, you'll work with the Account team to report on hours/time spent on each project.
    • Producing necessary contracts and paperwork for partner-vendors and working with finance/operations to ensure payment is processed within the proper budgets
    • Able to identify bottlenecks and provide solutions across departments 


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3-6 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or advertising.
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana, Airtable, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of advertising principles, marketing strategies, and social-first content development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scope-of-work management.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Background working with large brands, entertainment, or influencer partnerships is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social-digital platforms, emerging tech, influencer management, and content production.

SALARY & COMPENSATION

In compliance with local and state law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City, Colorado, and California. The range listed is just one component of Movement Strategy's total compensation package for employees.  Individual compensation varies based on location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. 

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, years of relevant experience, qualifications, and certifications or other professional licenses held. Movement Strategy prides itself on providing competitive salaries and actively works to ensure there is pay equity across the company. 

Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 salary per year
