The Urban Renewal Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position focuses on providing telehealth services to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. This role is fully remote, allowing you to provide telehealth services to our diverse client base from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, both via telehealth and in the community, tailored to the needs of assigned clients.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that facilitate access to appropriate services and effectively support client recovery.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery and improve therapeutic outcomes.
  • Participate in crisis intervention efforts, applying skills to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support as needed.
  • Document client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with organizational protocols, ensuring timely completion of reports and data submissions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills, focusing on evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Urban Renewal Center, you will work with clients who present with a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other severe emotional disorders. Many of our clients come from underserved backgrounds, which can contribute to unique challenges in accessing mental health services. Your ability to build rapport and trust with these clients will be crucial in facilitating meaningful change and promoting resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Demonstrated competency in understanding and addressing age-related or specialty issues relevant to the populations served.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with diverse populations facing socioeconomic barriers.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
