Their work can include illustrations for books, advertisements, video games, websites, and other digital media. Remote digital illustrators communicate with clients and teams online, submit their work electronically, and often collaborate through cloud-based platforms. This role requires strong artistic skills, technical proficiency with illustration software, and the ability to manage projects independently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote digital illustrator?

Summary:

Do you thrive on order in the middle of creative chaos? We're looking for a highly organized Digital Asset Manager to own the intake, review, and approval of hundreds of promotional assets flowing through a fast-moving digital production environment. You'll work directly with developers and cross-functional creative teams, keeping a high-volume asset pipeline moving accurately and on time, from first submission to final archive.

This is a role for someone who brings professionalism, discretion, and calm under pressure, and who genuinely enjoys the mechanics of managing digital content at scale.

  • Experience with large-scale creative production or promotional artwork management
  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of creative assets across their full lifecycle
  • Keen eye for detail and familiarity with digital asset specifications, design concepts, terminology, and style guides
  • Experience working with raster images, video, 2D/3D graphics, and audio files
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented track record
  • Proficiency in DAM systems, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Airtable
  • Proven success partnering and collaborating across cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-driven with a creative problem-solving mindset
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflows, with a proactive approach to integrating emerging technology to improve production efficiency and output
  • Deep understanding of and passion for technology, apps, and games

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Creative agency experience
  • Familiarity with app store ecosystems, games, and apps
  • Bachelor's degree
