WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT?As our new Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of strategic, multi-channel digital marketing initiatives that advance company and product goals. You will also be responsible for designing, launching, and optimizing high-impact campaigns across multiple digital channels to engage educators, administrators, and institutional decision-makers.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns in partnership with Product Marketing, aligning initiatives with key business priorities for both print and digital educational products.
  • Own multi-channel campaign strategy and execution across email, social media, community platforms, and other owned digital properties using Marketing Automation tools
  • Ensure full integration with web properties, CRM systems, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Serve as a digital thought leader, staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies to inform innovation and increase marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage and optimize digital channels and content assets ensuring usability, accessibility, and engagement.
  • Oversee the accuracy and consistency of product information across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand, messaging, and system-wide marketing tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain brand consistency and strategic alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Analyze campaign performance and marketing funnel metrics to generate strategic insights and drive continuous optimization of campaign tactics, reporting frameworks, and dashboards.
  • Deliver comprehensive performance reporting using variety of analytics tools and apply data-driven insights to inform future campaign strategies and enhance ROI.
  • Partner with Business Operations to refine database strategy, lead management processes, and segmentation models to support targeted, scalable marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning, messaging, and campaign development; translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Provide strategic support in the creation of sales enablement materials, ensuring alignment with campaign messaging and broader go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor junior team members on content quality and tone, as needed

YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
  • Bachelor's degree minimum.
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related role, with demonstrated success designing, leading, and optimizing integrated campaigns across email, web, social media, and community platforms in alignment with business objectives and brand identity.
  • Strong experience with database-driven marketing, including audience segmentation, lead lifecycle management, and scalable campaign execution across channels.
  • Experience managing cross-functional workflows and projects, and supporting agile, data-driven marketing execution.
  • Experience overseeing and evolving websites, landing pages, blogs, video platforms, and eCommerce storefronts to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Strong knowledge of UX, SEO, digital consistency, usability, and content performance best practices, with the ability to apply them to improve results.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing high-performing campaigns across major social platforms, with a focus on maximizing ROI, engagement, and audience reach.
  • Highly skilled in campaign performance measurement and reporting, using analytics to translate data into actionable recommendations for content strategy, channel mix, and targeting decisions.
  • Extensive experience using email platforms, SEO/SEM tools, content management systems, and other digital marketing technologies.
  • In-depth experience with campaign tracking, contact segmentation, and reporting within CRM systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication platforms to support efficient collaboration.
  • Experience using basic design or editing software and AI-powered analytics tools to improve insights and productivity.

IDEAL IF YOU HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):
  • Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Experience in/knowledge of K-12/Higher Ed sectors, products, industry, etc. strongly preferred

LOCATION:Hybrid - Boston
Candidate must reside within the United States, within a commutable/reasonable distance to our Boston, MA office location and be willing to work a hybrid remote/in-office schedule (Tues/Thurs in office minimum). Relocation is not available for this position.
SALARY RANGE: $70k-$85k annual salary
This position is salaried and is eligible for an annual incentive based on employee and organizational performance.
