At Nextiva, we're reimagining how businesses connect, bringing together customer experience and team collaboration on a single, conversation centric platform. Powered by AI, driven by human innovation.
Our culture is forward thinking, customer obsessed and built on the belief that meaningful connections drive better business outcomes. Whether it's through our signature Amazing Service®, the technology we create, or the experiences we cultivate, connection is at the core of who we are.
If you're ready to collaborate with incredible people, make an impact, and help businesses everywhere deliver truly amazing experiences, this is where you belong.

Specific scheduling and flexibility will be guided by your leader to support both team collaboration and individual productivity.
We are seeking to recruit our new Technical Demo Engineerto serve as the "Backstage Engineer." Unlike traditional sales roles that are purely client-facing, this position is focused on maintaining, enhancing, and supporting Nextiva's demo ecosystem, including demo tenant management, integrations, technical assets, product adoption initiatives, team enablement, and product feedback. The Technical Demo Engineer will partner closely with Solution Consultants by providing the tools, environments, and technical foundations needed to deliver compelling customer demonstrations, ensuring demo experiences are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with customer needs. While the role will contribute to the design and development of strategic demo capabilities, it is primarily responsible for supporting and enabling the broader solutions consulting team rather than creating every individual demo.
This is a technical role with a pre-sales opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Demo Ownership & Creation
  • Design, build, and maintain high-impact product demos that showcase Nextiva's solutions across all product platforms
  • Customize demos to reflect customer-specific use cases, industries (e.g., insurance, banking, retail), and operational environments
  • Ensure demos highlight Nextiva's strengths in control, reliability, scalability, and customer readiness
  • Continuously evolve demo content to reflect new product features, roadmap updates, and market feedback

Sales Support
  • Partner with Solution Consultant's throughout the sales cycle, from discovery through proof points and final presentations
  • Support the Solution Consulting team with technical discoveries, architecture discussions, and solution validation sessions when needed
  • Understand customer-specific needs to provide business-driven demo consulting to prospective and existing customers

Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Must be a compelling, passionate, and enthusiastic speaker
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on demo usage, solution consultant's feedback, and customer reactions
  • Help standardize demo best practices, documentation, and reusable assets
  • Contribute to internal enablement by training sales teams on how to position and leverage demos effectively
  • Work closely with the Services Delivery team to communicate and coordinate updates, enhancements, and new capabilities introduced into our demo environments.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as Demo Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales role, preferably in enterprise software
  • 1+ years of CCaaS Experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Fundamental knowledge of Python, JSON, HTML CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building and delivering product demos
  • Comfort working with conversational AI, contact center technologies, or related domains (IVR, IVA, speech recognition, NLP, CCaaS)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
  • Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with voice AI, conversational design, or customer care platforms
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and enterprise software architectures such Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar systems
  • Background working with regulated or mission-critical environments (e.g., financial services, insurance)
  • A bonus would be knowledge in areas such as Data Security & Privacy (HIPAA, PCI, GDPR), Outbound Outreach & Consent (TCPA, TSR, DNC), Call Recording & Monitoring
  • Knowledge in Spanish or French
  • Data networking, SIP, Google Dialogflow, Contact Center technical certifications
  • Office 365 and Google G-Suite programs and application
  • Visio or Lucidchart
