• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans catered to the unique needs of each client while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation to maintain adherence to clinical standards and facilitate effective patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies in collaboration with the clinical team to identify patient needs and steer treatment direction.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavioral support plans, demonstrating an integrated approach to mental health care.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with state and national standards.
• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to promote cohesive care delivery.
• Foster open communication channels to meet contract standards and heighten the visibility of our mission throughout the community.
• Develop and maintain relationships with governmental agencies and organizations to identify synergy opportunities for partnerships and funding.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as attending conferences, workshops, and networking events to stay abreast of industry advancements.
• Promote and embody the principles of our agency’s mission and values in all interactions with clients and partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support operational efficiency.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing issues related to emotional health, substance use, behavioral challenges, and various mental health diagnoses. The role involves working with individuals who seek to enhance their quality of life and tackle the challenges presented by their unique circumstances. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in facilitating their recovery journey and supporting community integration.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.
• An independent LMHC license is required, and we support licensed counselors from other states by covering the costs associated with obtaining a California license.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with regulatory compliance in mental health.
• Proficient in using various screening tools and working collaboratively within clinical teams.
• Prior experience in community mental health settings is highly desirable.
