  • Develop, articulate, and deliver against the account growth strategy that embraces the full portfolio of Hitachi and which is aligned with our customers business priorities requiring the alignment and mobilization of diverse stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Develop and grow Hitachi's profitable share of wallet and quality of business.
  • Develop deep multi-tier customer relationships by gaining access to the customer at all levels by proactively facilitating regular executive engagements based on an in-depth understanding of the customers challenges.
  • Be recognized as the Hitachi expert on the customer, their business, and their opportunities by identifying, growing and managing the pipeline of opportunities while developing the key channels to market.


Requirements:

  • Accomplished business developer with extensive experience and proven track record in Account Management and complex solution selling.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills with the ability to articulate business trends and link actions to outcomes.
  • Collaborative, passionate, and dynamic team player with the energy and ability to obtain alignment and work effectively across a complex, global matrix organization.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in the Industrial market as a provider of technology, solutions, and services into the industry.
  • Familiarity with the sector (the processes, pain points, constraints, and opportunities) mean that you are a trusted partner and can offer solutions for issues the client may not yet realize exist.
  • Existing relationships with both C-Level and Operational leadership with the credibility and walk-in rights.
  • Technical and sales expertise will include innovative digital solutions relating to industrial, energy management, energy saving consultation, and automation (hardware and software).
  • A demonstratable and successful track record of sales & account management, business development and closing deals.
  • Structured, organized individual whose approach to sales will be to proactively create opportunity.
  • Accustomed to a fast-changing, complex, and ambiguous environment.

Education:

  • B.S. in engineering or alternatively electrical, energy, or management engineering

Professional Experience:

  • Prefer a minimum of 10 years in technical sales in the industrial, energy management system, data visualization, and energy saving consultation.
  • Must have basic knowledge of electrical communications including field networks and the internet.
  • Particular aptitude for interpersonal relations and teamwork.
  • Ability to organize the work autonomously.
  • Availability for frequent national and international business trips.
  • Experience in developing a team.
