Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments to gain a deep understanding of each client’s unique circumstances and mental health needs.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions to support client well-being and recovery.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused techniques, to assist clients in achieving their goals.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Collaborating closely with a dedicated treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to deliver comprehensive and cohesive care.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions and offering guidance on coping strategies and resources.
• Staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and best practices to enrich your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSWs at Harmony Haven Healthcare will primarily work with a diverse patient population in a detoxification setting. The clients we serve often contend with substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. Thus, understanding the intricate relationship between mental health and substance dependence is essential for providing effective treatment and fostering recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in settings that address mental health and substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapy modalities, particularly solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and empathize with a diverse client population.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, enabling creative approaches to treatment.
• The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to group dynamics and patient care initiatives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in detox or substance use treatment settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and behavioral health regulations.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

Harmony Haven Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
