Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments through therapeutic interviews and standardized tools to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, specifically tailored to the needs of clients in detox.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices in electronic health record (EHR) management.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Provide case consultations and participate in peer review sessions to elevate the quality of care across our clinical practice.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Remain current with developments in mental health research, integrating new findings into practical strategies that enable improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. You will engage with a diverse patient population, encompassing various backgrounds and experiences, to provide compassionate and effective support during a critical time in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience specifically in psychotherapy, with a demonstrated focus on addiction and recovery.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapy techniques that cater to individual needs.
