  • Deliver evidence-based short-term psychotherapy tailored to individual clients, which may include techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and community, creating a safe space for clients to share experiences and challenges.
  • Provide consultation and tailored recommendations for clients requiring specialized counseling services, referring them when necessary.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current in best practices and to fulfill licensing requirements.
  • Deliver crisis assessment and intervention when necessary, including evaluating suicidal ideations and determining the necessity of hospitalization.
  • Document client interactions and treatment plans diligently, adhering to legal and ethical standards throughout.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with a diverse clientele, encompassing adolescents and young adults facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges. The detox center serves individuals from various backgrounds, and your culturally competent approach will ensure that all patients receive the care they deserve. Youโ€™ll utilize your expertise to tailor treatment plans that are responsive to the unique needs and cultural contexts of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current LCSW licensure in California is required. We may also consider fully licensed LMHC candidates.
  • At least three years of post-master's clinical experience in case management, with a focus on mental health treatment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience managing treatment for diverse adolescent populations, particularly in the context of substance use and psychological disorders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver assessments and therapy sessions remotely.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a robust benefits package, including:

  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance options.
  • Disability insurance and an employee assistance program for personal and professional challenges.
  • Generous paid time off to promote work-life balance.
