Mid-Level Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

Remote

Role Summary:

The Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will support customer’s enterprise AVD platform, responsible for building, operating, and optimizing scalable, secure virtual desktop environments. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting both published applications and full desktop use cases with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and support Azure Virtual Desktop host pools.

Manage Windows 10/11 enterprise images and application delivery.

Configure and support FSLogix profile containers.

Troubleshoot AVD performance, connectivity, and session issues.

Implement scaling plans, availability, and cost optimization strategies.

Document AVD standards and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of experience supporting virtual desktop or EUC platforms.

Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.

Strong experience with Azure compute, networking, and storage.

Experience with FSLogix profile management and troubleshooting.

Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
