The Role

As the Senior Manager, Global Retail Training & Communications, you will set the vision and strategy for how retail employees learn across UGG and HOKA. You'll create globally consistent and locally relevant learning experiences that build capability, accelerate adoption, and support pinnacle consumer experiences. You'll lead innovation in micro-learning, mobile-first and short-form content, AI-enabled learning, and performance support, while establishing strong governance and measurement. You'll partner with global and regional teams to translate business priorities into scalable learning solutions, with targeted support for executive and retail communications.

Your Impact

  • Own the global retail learning vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for UGG and HOKA, aligned to business priorities and frontline needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into learning outcomes
  • Use learner feedback, performance data, and business insights to identify capability gaps and prioritize solutions
  • Design learning across service, product, selling, operations, leadership, onboarding, and strategic transformation initiatives
  • Create mobile-first journeys using micro-learning, short-form video, scenario practice, peer learning, live facilitation, and performance support
  • Develop reusable standards, templates, toolkits, and workflows for rapid creation of high-quality content
  • Build a culture of experimentation by testing emerging learning methods, technologies, and content formats
  • Apply AI responsibly to accelerate development, personalize learning, and improve translation and localization
  • Manage learning technology and vendor partnerships, including LMS and content-creation tools
  • Own the global content calendar, intake and prioritization process, governance standards, and content lifecycle
  • Measure effectiveness through participation, completion, knowledge, confidence, behavior, adoption, employee feedback, consumer outcomes, and business KPIs
  • Provide targeted support for high-priority retail executive presentations, talking points, scripts, and updates

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, instructional design, retail training, or learning innovation, including work in a global or highly matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated success building enterprise learning strategies and translating business priorities into scalable, measurable experiences for frontline employees
  • Experience creating micro-learning, mobile-first content, short-form video, scenario-based learning, digital performance support, and visual presentations
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools, rapid-authoring, video-editing, animation, digital content platforms, and LMS or learning experience platforms
  • Retail experience strongly preferred; experience with global localization and accessibility is a plus
  • Skills in learning strategy, performance consulting, adult learning, instructional design, behavior change, facilitation, and blended learning
  • Strong stakeholder influence across brands, functions, regions, cultures, and languages without direct authority
  • Team leadership and talent development; strong written and spoken English; curiosity, creativity, judgment, and effectiveness in a fast-paced remote global environment
