Simply Wellness Medical Clinic is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, including interviews and psychological evaluations, to establish baseline data.
• Design, implement, and adjust comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, using evidenced-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Engage in regular follow-up sessions with clients, assessing their progress and evolving treatment needs, providing guidance and support throughout their recovery journey.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that foster a supportive environment conducive to open communication and healing.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, using advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care, making referrals as necessary.

Our clients represent a diverse cross-section of the community, many of whom grapple with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. As a counselor at Simply Wellness, you will provide empathetic and culturally competent care to support clients from varied backgrounds and experiences. Understanding their unique challenges is essential in tailoring effective interventions and fostering resilience.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, with a strong foundation in mental health treatment modalities.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and effective treatment approaches, combined with cultural competence in therapy.
• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy in a manner that is responsive to the cultural context of clients.
• Exemplary crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure under duress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, allowing you to build trust with clients and colleagues across various settings.

• Experience using EHR systems efficiently for clinical documentation and patient management.
• Proven record of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous education in mental health practices.
