Job description


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
As a Marketing Coordinator for Fazolis, you’ll play an integral role supporting key brand level initiatives, with a critical focus on local store marketing and new store opening support.

The perfect candidate is customer-service minded, organized and a detailed project manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and execution of measurable marketing plans to meet budgeted Same Store Sales (SSS) goals, with a keen eye on profitability.
  • Assist the Brand Team in the execution of key tactics to build upon category leadership positioning and help increase profitable SSS results for the division.
  • Work directly with franchisees to coordinate all marketing-related tasks associated with opening a new store.
  • Ensure local store marketing plans are planned and executed.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to conduct market analysis to determine best marketing initiatives to activate on a local level.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to coordinate local store events, celebrations, and partnerships.
  • Lead monthly calls with Brand Ambassadors to review quarterly LSM programs and facilitate roundtable discussions on effective local store marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate franchisee creative requests, inclusive of fielding them, training franchisees on best practices, and working through the proofing process with our design team to ensure franchisees have what they need for successful campaigns at the local level.
  • Communicate LSM Resources, including LSM Guides, Action Plans, Quick Info Sheets, Training Videos, Planning Guides and Webinars to Franchisees.
  • Assist the Brand Team in pulling data and maintaining competitive research and sales reporting to provide key insights into various marketing campaigns to optimize for future brand strategies and objectives.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating ship lists, store location lists, and location listings management tools.
  • Assist with Administrative Duties such as maintaining a budget, agendas, notes, and action items for meetings, and submitting requests through a project management platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, ETC.)

  • At least 1-3 years of applicable marketing experience, preferably in a nationally branded, franchised restaurant environment or agency experience managing one or more restaurant brands.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Advanced written communication skills required.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in a one-on-one setting and a team setting.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using Dropbox, Facebook, Google My Business, OLO. Third-Party Delivery Platforms, and Asana preferred.
  • Dependable transportation required.

*Some travel may be required.
