• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients seeking mental health support. Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Engage with clients using various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with established ethical and legal standards, and actively contribute to integrated care through collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain informed about current best practices and advancements in mental health therapy, enhancing the quality of care provided to clients.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals facing trauma, those dealing with substance abuse issues, and families seeking guidance. • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software applications.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, family dynamics, or couples counseling is highly desirable and will enhance your application.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team is advantageous and will aid in providing comprehensive care.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and a caseload.
