Up Closets of Denton County is a locally owned and family-operated custom storage company specializing in beautiful custom closets, garages, pantries, laundry rooms, home offices, and other organizational solutions. We are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and an outstanding customer experience, and we're looking for someone who shares those values.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Demolition & Drywall Repair Technician to prepare customers' homes for our custom closet installations. This position is ideal for someone with experience in remodeling, drywall repair, painting, texture matching, or general construction who enjoys working independently and takes pride in leaving every job looking better than they found it.
Responsibilities
  • Remove existing wire shelving, cabinets, and closet systems safely and efficiently
  • Protect customers' homes by covering floors, furniture, and work areas
  • Repair drywall, patch holes, and prepare walls for installation
  • Match existing wall textures and complete paint touch-ups as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Load, unload, and transport tools and materials
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent our company with integrity
  • Occasionally assist installation crews when needed
Qualifications
  • Experience with drywall repair, painting, texture matching, demolition, remodeling, or general construction
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
