Sea View Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to become a vital part of our team. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and establish a therapeutic rapport.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that address specific issues and support clients' overall well-being.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with tools and strategies for managing their mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Document patient progress and therapy outcomes using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively and maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
• Mentor and supervise intern counselors, fostering a spirit of learning and growth within the team.

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals, including those struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, trauma, addiction, and various behavioral health challenges. You will engage with a multicultural population, making cultural competence and sensitivity vital for successful therapeutic outcomes. • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based practices, and culturally responsive therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy effectively, fostering inclusive environments where clients feel valued and heard.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and a proven track record of handling challenging situations with professionalism and care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Prior experience working in diverse settings, including addiction treatment facilities, community outreach programs, or other mental health disciplines.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems to manage patient information and streamline treatment process.
• Background in creating and delivering educational workshops or resources to enhance community mental health awareness.

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
