This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while participating in outpatient therapy sessions for a diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ specific emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges encountered during rehabilitation, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that set realistic goals aligned with their rehabilitation timelines.
  • Serve as a staunch advocate for clients and their families, assisting them in navigating community resources, support systems, and social services to bolster their overall recovery efforts.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and emotional stability of clients in vulnerable situations.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans to adhere to all legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to provide comprehensive client-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on clients navigating the challenges of rehabilitation, including those recovering from physical injuries, mental health disorders, and emotional traumas. Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a counseling role, ideally within rehabilitation or healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a deep commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential counseling practices.
