Job description

ServiceNow Developer (SPM/Strategic Planning Workspace)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to develop and implement out-of-the-box and near out-of-the-box solutions within our ServiceNow environment. The ideal candidate will have experience building solutions in ServiceNow, working with REST APIs, and supporting basic ServiceNow run activities. Experience with JavaScript is preferred.

This role will primarily support Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)/Strategic Planning Workspace and may also involve Legal Service Delivery, IRM/GRC, and work adjacent to the CMDB environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to implement API integrations.
  • Fix bugs based on priorities defined by the team lead.
  • Maintain updates on active user stories within ServiceNow.
  • Build and update ServiceNow flows and modules.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Architect to design and implement solutions that address business challenges.
  • Participate in on-call support for occasional system issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Experience building solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Ability to perform basic ServiceNow run activities.
  • Mandatory experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)/Strategic Planning Workspace.
  • Strong preference for experience with Legal Service Delivery.
  • Experience with IRM/GRC.
  • Experience working adjacent to the CMDB.
  • JavaScript experience preferred.
  • Remote position; candidates within the organization's six-state footprint and those able to commute to Grand Rapids on occasion are preferred
