Job description

Description

About us:

Momentus provides industry-leading event and venue management software to customers in over 50 countries around the world, serving thousands of customers that power millions of events. In the age of digital transformation, our comprehensive platform offers event professionals leading-edge SaaS technology that provides a 360 view of their business, allowing them to cut costs, save time, and increase revenue. Momentus technology powers top shows around the world, famous museums, global convention centers, performing arts venues, professional sports arenas, and other unique venues. Our client list includes The Apollo Theatre, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Harvard University, Portland'5 Centers for the Arts, the Javitz Center, and St. Louis Art Museum. Some of our global clients include: ExCel London, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Omanexpo, the China National Convention Center, the Porsche Experience Center in Germany and the Sydney Opera House.

We are looking for a Director of Product to lead our AI Platform, Analytics, Portals, and Platform/Integrations product areas. You will set the multi-quarter strategy across those domains, advance the 2026 roadmap (AI-first Analytics, an in-app agent surface, a customer-configurable agent builder, next-generation embedded portals), and bring senior product judgment to the AI bets that anchor our path to a fully agentic platform by 2028. This is the role for an ambitious product leader who wants a well-resourced AI bet with executive sponsorship, real customer pull, and 20+ years of vertical context the horizontal platforms don't have.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Product Managers across AI Platform, Analytics, Portals, and Platform/Integrations. Set strategy, ladder it to the 2026 GA calendar and the 2028 vision.
  • Own the AI Platform and agent strategy. The in-app agent surface and the customer-configurable agent builder are the new canvas for how Momentus delivers intelligence to customers. You set the product direction for both.
  • Bring senior product judgment to AI architecture decisions. Model selection, retrieval, evaluation, agent design, latency and cost trade-offs, where determinism beats intelligence, and the data quality work that underwrites all of it. You partner with engineering on these calls.
  • Define outcomes, not features. Articulate measurable customer and business outcomes for every initiative your team owns. Outcomes ladder to product-organization goals, which ladder to company goals.
  • Operate at pace across a layered stack. Partner with UX, Engineering, and the data and AI capabilities forming inside the company. Sequence work across an established product, a new AI-native application, and the data and integration layer underneath both.

Requirements

  • Product leadership experience. 10+ years in product management, with 4+ years leading product managers (head of product, director, or equivalent). You have built and grown a product team, not just a product.
  • AI and ML product judgment. You have led an AI or ML-powered product to customers with measurable adoption or outcome impact, and you can name the leading indicator you tracked weekly. You have made and can defend a real build-vs-buy or model-selection call. You treat data quality and AI quality as one problem. You have working judgment on RAG, fine-tuning, agent design, evaluation, prompt engineering, latency, and cost.
  • Organizational maturity step-change. You have led a product organization or function through a shift from feature-roadmap to outcome-empowered. You can name what you changed, what stuck, and what didn't.
  • Platform, data, or analytics product depth. Direct experience leading at least one of: platform or API products, embedded analytics or BI, data products, or integration surfaces.
  • B2B SaaS operator. B2B SaaS background, ideally vertical SaaS or platform. You understand the economics of GRR and NRR, the politics of customer migration, and the difference between selling to operators and selling to executives.
  • Strategic and tactical range. You can write the strategy memo your executive team rallies around in the morning, and sit in a sprint review without taking the pen in the afternoon. You define success criteria before you define solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in venue, event management, hospitality, or adjacent vertical SaaS.
  • Experience leading a product team through an AI-native re-platforming.
  • Working familiarity with context engineering and LLM application development practices.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), Pendo, Snowflake, and LaunchDarkly.

Important Notice on Location Eligibility:

This is a U.S.-based remote role. Due to regulatory requirements, candidates residing in California, or other states with active pay transparency laws will not be considered at this time.
