Sodexo is seeking a Senior Director, HR & Labor Technology
The Senior Director, HR & Labor Technology provides strategic and operational leadership for enterprise HR, labor, and workforce technology platforms.
This role is responsible for shaping the technology vision, roadmap, and delivery model for systems that support Human Capital Management, labor optimization, and related compliance and workforce solutions.
Acting as a trusted partner to HR and business leadership, the role ensures technology solutions enable efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement while aligning with enterprise standards and global operating models.
The Senior Director leads multidisciplinary teams across build and run activities and plays a critical role in driving modernization, system integration, and value realization across HR and labor platforms.
This is a remote role with the preferred candidate able to work Eastern Standard time zone hours to accommodate global meetings
What You'll Do
  • Set and execute the technology strategy, roadmap, and operating model for HR and labor systems, including HCM, labor management, and workforce solutions
  • Lead the design, build, integration, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise HR & labor applications
  • Own endtoend system flows and ensure adherence to core enterprise models, architecture, and governance standards
  • Partner closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations leaders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
  • Oversee largescale programs, projects, and system implementations, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with high quality
  • Manage internal teams and external vendors, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive portfolio, change, release, and application lifecycle management across the HR & labor technology landscape
  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, quality, and risk management standards
  • Lead financial planning and budget management at the domain and project level
  • Champion innovation, operational excellence, and a culture of transparency, collaboration, and results

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR, labor, or enterprise technology environments
  • Deep expertise in HR and labor systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Workforce solutions, or comparable HCM and labor platforms
  • Strong understanding of HR and workforce business processes, including timekeeping, scheduling, compliance, and analytics
  • Proven experience defining technology strategy and translating it into actionable roadmaps and successful implementations
  • Demonstrated success leading large, crossfunctional teams and managing complex vendor ecosystems
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise IT processes, including portfolio management, application lifecycle management, change management (ITIL), and system integration
  • Financial acumen, including budget ownership and P&L management across build and run functions
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • A collaborative leadership style that promotes accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
