Job description

Description Job Title IS Technical Specialist Organization Name: The Huntington National Bank Job Location: 7 Easton Oval, Columbus, OH 43219. Detailed Description Support Enterprise Payments team to design and implement payment capabilities for customers and businesses. Develop and configure RESTful Web Services using Java, Spring Boot, Cl/CD, and cloud-enabled services.

Support system design and business analysis activities, including server layout, availability, disaster recovery planning, and production deployments. Assist with software and data design activities, including Database Schema, Storage considerations, Data Mapping, Data Storage efficiency, RDBMS to NoSQL Data considerations, Flat file to NoSQL considerations, and API design. Analyze and design databases and map, query, and aggregate data using NoSQL database technologies.

Support transition to Kafka, including analyzing proper use cases, environment setup considerations, enrichments, and transformations. Assist with transition from a physical/virtual machine environment to a cloudbased environment. Implement enterprise services and APIs under the guidance of architectural and engineering leadership.

Manage the development process within the Agile team, including experienced troubleshooting and coaching other team developers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. Engineering, or a related field.

Six (6) years of software development experience including creating and maintaining APIs between various data sources and applications, using Azure DevOps, and use of Cl/CD and cloud-based tools in an Agile software development lifecycle framework. Hybrid work schedule may be available if residing in Central Ohio area.
