Our organization embraces technology, utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient data management and facilitate communication among team members. Regular team meetings, supervision, and collaborative case discussions will help ensure cohesion and teamwork despite the remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to gauge their psychological status.
  • Design personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and approaches, tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies and culturally competent strategies.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changes in their mental health status.
  • Provide referrals to additional healthcare resources, such as psychiatrists, when medication evaluations or specialized interventions are warranted.
  • Document all client interactions accurately and promptly in our EHR system to maintain continuity of care and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and therapeutic techniques.
  • Engage in crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating strong management skills to ensure client safety during challenging situations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population experiencing a wide range of complex mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. A culturally inclusive approach is essential, as you will be addressing the unique backgrounds and needs of each client while fostering an environment of trust and understanding.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current, valid license in New York state as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain calm and supportive presence in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant technology to support efficient practice operations.
  • A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and setting clear boundaries in client relationships.
Preferred Experience

Experience delivering therapy in both individual and group formats is preferred, particularly utilizing culturally responsive methodologies. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Along with competitive compensation, employees benefit from a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) policies that promote work-life balance.
