• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, leading to a precise understanding of each client’s individual challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique goals and preferences, ensuring that each approach is tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively addressing a range of mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for every client.
• Remain informed about current research and developments in mood disorder treatment, utilizing this knowledge to enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to promote best practices and continuous professional development among staff members.
• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders to destigmatize mental health challenges.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland is required.
• Proficiency in established treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to support collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other health professionals.
• A demonstrated history of successful treatment outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in delivering therapy services in a remote format, ensuring effective engagement with clients through virtual platforms.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and data entry.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
