Job Summary

Responsible for providing financial support and analysis to research projects and initiatives by collaborating with researchers, grant managers, and finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with funding regulations to support the successful execution of research programs.
Essential Functions:
-Conduct financial analysis for research projects, including budget development, expenditure tracking, and forecasting.
-Collaborate with researchers and grant managers to develop project budgets, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and institutional policies.
-Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for research projects, grants, and funding agencies.
-Ensure compliance with funding agency regulations, institutional financial policies, and research ethics guidelines.
-Assist in financial planning and forecasting for research initiatives.
-Utilize financial management systems and software for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
-Collaborate with researchers, grant managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial matters.
-Performs other duties as assigned
-Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required and Master's Degree preferred


Experience

  • 1-2 years of financial analysis experience preferred
