Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Manage a dedicated population of Bleeding Disorders and Alpha1 patients through high touch inbound and outbound case management, including monthly refill coordination and ongoing clinical assessments aligned with performance guarantee standards.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding for new patients, ensuring education, therapy initiation, and continuity of care through a high touch service model
  • Serve as a central point of contact and liaison between patients, pharmacists, prescribers, nurses, sales, supply chain, and infusion teams to ensure exceptional, coordinated patient care
  • Support scheduling and coordination of treatments in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient care settings
  • Patient Interaction & Problem Resolution[FS1]
  • Utilize active listening, root cause analysis, and critical thinking to identify patient needs, uncover underlying issues, and implement effective solutions
    Strive for first call resolution by providing accurate, timely, and patient centered responses to inquiries
  • Demonstrate awareness of internal and external factors affecting patient experience, including insurance plan changes, call routing updates, supply disruptions, or weather-related events
  • Resolve patient concerns while reinforcing trust, empathy, and quality of care.call resolution by providing accurate, timely, and patientcentered responses to inquiries.related events
  • Enter and process prescriptions from intake through order completion, verifying patient demographics, insurance, and clinical information for accuracy and completeness
  • Type, review, and prioritize prescriptions based on urgency; assess data integrity; monitor claims processing status; and identify root causes of claim rejections
  • Process prescription refills, interpret therapy specific supply needs, and coordinate timely medication delivery
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription, insurance, and medical/laboratory information using pharmacy systems and reference tools.specific supply needs, and coordinate timely medication delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licenses where required by state law:
    • If located in Nevada, current active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
    • If located in Texas, a technician license is required in the state of TX
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Currently located in Texas, Arizona, or Nevada (Nevada must also hold Arizona Tech license)
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
  • Previous Home Infusion experience
  • 3 years of pharmacy experience with Bleeding Disorders/Alpha 1

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
