Location: Washington, D.C. onsite
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI, CI Polygraph

Constellation West is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support our IC business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, OR an additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience automating and orchestrating workloads across various data environments on cloud platforms supporting both classified and unclassified networks.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining the infrastructure storing and processing data; SME in the storage, transfer, and processing of secure, readily available.data
  • Proficient in cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure), scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Jenkins).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-native data management.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation, data governance, and cross-domain data transfer considerations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent.
  • Master’s degree in STEM
  • Experience working in IC or DoD environments, ideally supporting analytic or repository systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple agency data interconnectivity efforts including managing, analyzing, and transforming large datasets to support mission-critical analytic and operational requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend data integration opportunities to be used across the IC.
  • Advise as a SME all data engineering projects, ensuring optimal data availability and use.
  • Automate, and optimize data workflows across hybrid cloud platforms on both classified and unclassified networks.
  • Design and build secure, scalable data pipelines and storage infrastructure, enabling real-time and batch processing of structured and unstructured data
  • Manage voluminous data engineering tasks in an agile environments, leading or supporting multiple concurrent projects as assigned.
