Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a dedicated ServiceNow Developer through to support ongoing platform initiatives and day-to-day development needs for our Anchorage, Alaska based client. This individual will serve as a key resource for development, platform administration, enhancements, integrations, and ServiceNow best practices.

Communication is a critical factor for success in this environment. This team has traditionally operates with limited remote resources, so they are looking for someone who is highly responsive, dependable, and comfortable collaborating virtually with stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform, primarily focused on the ITSM module
  • Create and enhance Service Catalog items
  • Support Employee Service Center (ESC) portal enhancements
  • Execute global platform configuration changes
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics
  • Perform CMDB cleanup and data quality improvement efforts
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow best practices and platform optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Assist with ongoing platform improvements and operational support

Technical Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow
  • Deep understanding of the ITSM module
  • Experience building and supporting REST API integrations within ServiceNow (required)
