Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively promote Fluke products to achieve sales quota by establishing rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls.
- Become a local authority in Fluke products and solutions.
- Understand industrial applications and processes.
- Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, provide product demonstrations and training, and address end-user customer needs.
- Optimally use company resources, including the customer relationship management system (Dynamics CRM), data analytics (Power BI), and other tools from the Microsoft Suite.
- Collaborate with local distribution partners to drive growth at the end user level.
- Able to work remotely out of a home office with the capacity to travel to end-user sites within territory (approx. 50% overnight travel, depending on location)
- Can conduct remote meetings and use technology to connect with customers and others.
- Proficient at using LinkedIn to find new prospects.
Relationship Building:
- Build lasting relationships with local distributors and end users to provide solutions to their problems using an array of Fluke equipment, software & services.
- Provide support for a variety of distributor and customer events including trade shows, seminars, and onsite training, etc.
- Leverage the use of internal Fluke support teams to effectively grow your territory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Business or 4-year technical degree equivalent.
- 5-7 years' experience in a related sales role, technical sales experience is a nice to have.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to operate independently to achieve goals working in a fast-paced multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity and independent judgment.
- Skilled use in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform.
- Must live within the Louisiana, Southern Mississippi territory. Preferably Baton Rouge, LA area.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds daily.
