This role offers a full-time remote work setting, allowing counselors to connect with clients virtually while maintaining flexibility in their schedules. • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions based on individual client assessments.
• Utilize crisis management skills and provide de-escalation techniques during challenging situations.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data, documenting progress and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care decisions.
• Foster and maintain a confidential and supportive virtual atmosphere, presenting yourself professionally during client interactions.

The counselor will work primarily with a diverse client base that may include individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health issues. Counselors will also have the opportunity to engage with pediatric patients, focusing on developmental considerations and the unique needs of this age group.

• A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field, along with current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate (LMHC-A) in Washington state.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in behavioral or mental health settings, providing a foundational understanding of therapeutic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, as well as evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Up-to-date awareness of current research and practices, including familiarity with professional psychedelic integration counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport and fostering relationships with clients and community partners.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all professional interactions.

• Experience providing mental health and/or integration counseling services within various healthcare or educational systems.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis management, career counseling, and assessment with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in data collection and documentation, along with diagnostic mental health expertise.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Along with a flexible work schedule, Four Winds Therapy provides professional development assistance to support ongoing learning and growth.
